Would you like to be a part of a new TV series for Channel 4?

Do you have a question about your family history and need more information? We may be able to help you!

Genealogy Roadshow, produced by Big Mountain Productions for broadcaster Channel 4, is an innovative series that offers the British public a chance to connect directly with their family history for the first time.

The series will open its doors to a broad cross section of society and, using a team of expert investigators, will help them to unearth family secrets or achievements, reunite with lost branches of their family tree, or search for hidden treasure buried deep in their families past.

Although people may be seeking answers to certain questions, the experts extensive research could take things in a very different direction and reveal some astonishing stories…so everyone involved should expect the unexpected!

We are filming in the Macclesfield area from Wednesday 28th February to Sunday 4th March 2018

At present we are looking for a small number of locals who would like to join us in their quest to find out more about their family history. We are looking for enthusiastic audience members who are willing to embrace the revelations of others' family history as well as receiving some assistance to conquer their own genealogical mysteries.

Successful Audience members will be given a set time-slot for arrival to the roadshow to ensure they have adequate time to get involved. If you would be interested in taking part and have availability on the above dates
